depends on your mods.
the wires you have now are fine if they are newish.

just get the stock Motorcraft plugs, and a good wire set. I went with a 9mm Ford Racing set.

Getting decent plugs is worth it, the better wire isn't unless your running more juice through them.

I use stock /OE Replacement wires and NGK plugs on my 98 GT. seem to have the best luck the the OE wires
