engine question


I am very courious as to what i can put in my 98 mustang. i have a 03 motor and all but i was wondering if i should just save up and get a forged 4.6 put in or c ould i do like a 351 swap or something. im just courious if i could put something like that in and run a carb set up and get rid of all these dang o2s and all. i would glady appreciate any info and turbo lx if u see this i would really like a response from u. thanks guys

if u want to run a windsor motor (302, 351, that engine family) ur gonna need the a new kmember. the one out of the 94-95 mustangs will work cuz they have the 302 engines and are the same chasis as ur car. personally i would get a built 4.6 short block, but thats just me

do u know of any good companies that buid these shortblocks. i was looking at dss racing

mmr, foxlake (idk how good thier blocks are but they have a good p&p rep), those are just the ones taht come to mind. mmr seems to be the most popular on here

dss racing has some bad ass motors but there really exspensive

i hear ya on that. dss racing long blocks are about 8000 to handle 1000 flywheel horses. mmr is around what 7500
