im looking to get new wheels for my car but i have no clue what size wheels are on it now i know their stock 245 45 r17 tires on stock wheels on a 96 gt any help on hweel size on that thanks

that is the wheel size, 245/245 r17 245 is the width, and 45 is the highth, and of course 17 is the rim size!

I have 18x9 front and 18x10 deep dish bullit wheels (chrome) on my stang. They fill the fender wells really well. The back ones stick out a little bit, which gives it a real aggressive stance. Ive had lots of compliments. Just a suggestion.
