Rev Problem

K guys i need some help. Ever since i put my trick flow upper plenum and 75 mm TB on when i rev the car up it takes a while for the rpms to come down. If your driving down the road and in lets say 3rd gear and let off the gas the car pulls back like normal but without touching the gas for like 5 seconds itll pull back even more like the rpms trying to finally come down more. Ive replaced the TP sensor, IAC, and also have a SCT tuner and had numorous tunes trying to fix it. Also my TB is closed as much as itll close without binding. Any other ideas on how i can fix this or whats causing the rpms to hang?

I fixed the problem, i made a IAC Plate and drilled a 17/64" hole for the IAC hole.

you can use gasket material and make your own gasket with a smaller diameter hole than stock to drop you rpm's faster.

Total cost is about $2.00

and you will have plenty of material left over for more.

Another method that i used that worked great is to buy a 1/2" copper pipe cap, drill a 17/64" hole in it, and put it in the hose coming outof your iac valve, worked wonders for me and alot easier then making a plate.

What are you guys talking about drilling holes in? Does this mean get rid of you iac, put a plate over the hole and drill a hole in it? I'm kinda confused.

they're talking about making a new gasket to go between the iac valve and the tb with a smaller hole than the stock one.
