Can't tell. I would call and talk to them. Always helps to hear them over the phone. Also, I would get a hood before anything else. Your hood should save you like 20-40lbs. And it takes it off the right end.

I think that carbon fiber trunks if left unpainted look a little ricerish. Get a CF hood first.

As if the trunk or hood weighs anything to begin with? Unless you're running a pretty fast race car, I dont get the point of getting carbon fiber? Especially on a Mustang.

A stock hood weighs around 57 lbs. A carbon fober one can weigh as little as 7lbs. And since each 100lbs is something like .1 seconds off your slip. Thats a ton of weight. For turning, that is 100 pounds off the front of the car not only reducing the weight, but moving the center of gravity further aft, making the car's weight ratio significantly better giving you more nutral handling. An invaluble modification. Between a hood, new coilovers, a new tubular K and an aluminum block. Your mustang could lose 150 to 200 lbs in the front of the car. Thats a lot of weight off the right end.

Think about your weight shift at launch. Get your front end up faster, makes more traction. In turning it means you don't have to fight the center of gravity to turn, you just have to fight your momentum. I think anyone will tell you. Taking weight off and improving your weight distribution is ALWAYS worth it.

If I were to carbon fiber out my car. Which I might, I would paint it all normal. But leave racing stripes the length of the car, carbon fiber. Like the stripes on the new challenger.

Cool

RICE means so many things to so many people ..... it loses it's real meaning.
Flash over Function .. the above race examples are hardly RICE by my definition. But, you'll find someone that calls the 2000 Cobra R rear wing RICE....
