Thinking about picking this up.
I am thinking about picking this up as a LONG TERM project. I know it's a rust bucket but the frame, dash and panels are all good. the rust is mostly just surface rust and I am thinking about pissing off all the chevy guys and installing a ford drivetrain in it.
it's only $800 bucks as it sits, the hood is in the bed of the truck and is in great shape. I'm thinking about a 4 year project for me and my daughter who unfortunately loves chevy's. Some bonding time to stay close while she goes through High School. what do you think?

Do it, there's nothing that will replace the memories and blood sweat and tears as to restoring a vehicle. But this should be in the clubhouse, or another area, not the Tech area.

Just buy it,install a LS7 with 6 speed, narrowed rear end with 410 gears, paint it bright red to match your car!! It will be a very good bonding project for you and your daughter.
