I swapped mine for one from a mach 1 and it bolted right up. Oddly, the back does not sit flush with the driveshaft hump though....

I modded my single din from my 96GT to a double din to fit my 7" LCD monitor. Used 3M's plastic bumper repair to make the mold, and relocated the HVAC.

It wasnt to hard really, well once I used the right materials. I tried using bondo first, and that did not work at all. That 3M stuff works really well. Goes on like butter, dries to a hard platic that you can sand and mold. I thought about making them and selling them on ebay, but I actually molded the bezel of the LCD into the radio bezel itself, so I would have to buy the LCD and bezel to sell them. I made sure to buy a LCD that was popular, so if it ever dies, I can buy another on on eBay and just replace the screen. I am happy the way it turned out.

It was part of my Carputer I installed. It always freaks people out when they get in and see the Windows XP start up screen .
