i recently bought a 1 1/2" lowering kit for my 97' cobra. i lifted the car and took off the wheels. when i started to take off the front calipers, i noticed the caliper bracket bolts were rounded off. i decided to stop the installation until i could replace the bolts. so i called the dealership to get replacements. holy $#*% they cost $11 dollars. so i decided to find bolts else where cause i haven't got $44 to spend on four bolts. i called fastenal and they told me they could get the bolts i needed, but i don't know the grade of the bolts. i believe they may be grade 8. i did at least get some specs on the bolts. the dealership said they didn't know what grade they were. if anyone knows the grade of these bolts please reply. remember these are for a 97' cobra, not for sure of any other year models. the specs if anyone needs them are as follows. m12 x 1.75 thread pitch x 35mm length flange bolts. grade and tensile strength unknown.
