T-5 in a 98 gt
Hi,
I'm currently swapping my 4.6L 2v for a 5.4L 32v. The engine was in a cobra 88 with a T5. I want to know if the T5 can be EASILY fitted in my 98GT The T5 have about 15 000km and my T45... 147 000 km ... Thanks |

Yeah, I'll post pictures before and after
![]() for the tranny, it's because i'm a budget and the t-5 is already bolted to the engine and the t-5 had only 15 000km on it... it's almost new. I'll look for a T-56 in the future

Hi, the block is from a F150 , it have a Eagle forged crank with Eagle forged beam and Manley forged piston with a 9.7:1 CR on top of that a pair of cobra 97 heads with FRPP high lift cams with a custom cobra 97 intake with IMRC deleted and finally, a twin 65mm BBK throttle body. for the exhaust, FRPP shorty headers with a MAC Pro-chamber and no muffler...
![]() The previous owner had the engine in a cobra 80 but last winter the roof of his storage fell on the car... you can see some picture on ::phoenix99.monchar.com Mustang GT 1998 |
