The stock 96-98 GT rotor size is 11" front and 10.5" rear with single piston calipers. Upgrading to the Cobra brakes will give you 13" front and 11.65" rear with dual piston calipers in the front.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure slotted rotors brake better than plain becuase the slots allow the gas buildup b/t the rotor and pad (which cuases brake fade) to escape through. You can get the whole Cobra kit for just around $1k from stangsuspension.com with SS lines. I'm going to upgrade soon for about $920 buying parts from stangsuspension.com and mustangpowerparts.com
