cobra calipers


getting me a brand new set of cobra calipers. fronts and backs and its only going to cost $400!!!!! WOOHOO. I shitting a brick when i found this deal.

nah gotta buy the rotors and bracket. but come on $400 for full set of calipers is cheap as SHIT. generally just the front calipers are like $400. buying my rotors off rock auto, and dunno where im getting the bracket.

you don't NEED them( the ss lines), you just WANT them. You also need a 17" or larger wheel. But I think those in your pic are 17's no?

well, you won't need new stainless lines, but there's a good chance that you will need new lines.

Do you know what model Cobra calipers those are? What color are they?

The fine thread banjo bolts are for Black Cobra, Bullitt, and 99-03GT stock calipers.

The coarse thread banjo bolts are for Mach 1 or 10th Anniversary Cobras, 94-98GT, 03-04GT, and 03-04 Cobra stock calipers.

I can't give you raw numbers, but I can say significantly.

Stock GT brakes are 10.65" (or 10.8", I can't remember), but you're going to 13" and will notice the car stopping much quicker, especially when you go full on.

The braking is well over stock GT's. remember not only do you have a bigger rotor but two pisons instead of one in the fronts
