Interior smells like gas or exhaust while driving

ive had my car for a couple months now, at it seems like its gotten worse but whenever i drive, the inside of the car smells like exhaust like its blowing in through the AC vents. It especially smells bad when the heat is on. Obviously the heat comes from the engine, but its not supposed to smell that bad... is it?

you shouldn't smell it at all. Chech your h pipe to manifold connectiom and make sure it's not leaking. check at the head/ manifold as well.

exhaust leak more than likely. Or you have an O/R pipe.

My car always smells like gas after I drive it, but it never comes in through the AC vents. I have a pretty rich tune right now though, maybe your car is running rich. Either way it shouldn't be coming through the AC

oh its definitely running rich, and its got idle problems, revs up to 2k by itself and then down to 1500 and bounces around there. I dont know what to do to make it not run rich......I got o/r h pipes and no cat converters..... stock air intake

Take it to an exhaust shop and have them check it for leaks.
