Oil and Launching Advice
I have a 98 gt with just a CAI and BBK LT and O/R x pipe... i was wondering what oil you all would suggest I use. I drive 50 miles everyday at least if that makes a difference. Also before I do any other major upgrades to the car I wanted to take it to the track to see what it would do right now... kind of a before and after type thing... so i was wondering what RPM range i should launch from... i just have regular street tires nothin special... your advice is appreciated... thankx much john

5-30 only. theres a lot of good brands of oils, i use mobil 1. i'm not an expert drag racer but i think you want to use enough gas amd clutch just below the point of losing grip from your tires.
