head and intake manifold set up
i have a 1998 gt. so for those of you who have 96-98 gt like me. whats' the best cylinder head and intake manifold set up that would give you the most horsepower? then what would be the next few things you would do to make it fast as hell?

well the best heads, at the moment are the SVO D-46's, next would be the PI heads.... now the intakes, well there are a few, SVO, Reichard, Fox Lake and a few more.....how many miles on your engine? if it's alot, like over 100k, you might want to think about buing a low(er) mileage complete 2001 - 2004 4.6 SOHC PI engine...

i have 86,000...if i wer to do a pi swap. will the stock heads/cams/valves/intake manifold from a 2000 gt work with my 98 gt? and is the year 2000 heads/cams/valves/intake the same ass the 01,02,03,and 04?

1999 and 2000 are Windsor engines, where your's is a Romeo, so "yes" they'll work but you also need the Windsor cam covers and some 10mm bolts and studs to attach the front chain cover to the heads, as Romeo's use 8mm hardware and Windsors use 10mm hardware....another small item is that Windsor's have pressed-on cam sprockets and Romeo's use bolt-on gears and such....
