sway bars


A friend of mine said i should remove my sway bars he said that it offers better handling is this true and why if so

no it doesn't give you better handeling.
it gives you horrible handeling.

the only sway bar you should remove is your front and only remove that if you car is a track only car.

Not true, removing the sway bars will cause a huge amount of body roll, however removing the front at the dragstrip does help weigh transfer.

It would be very unsafe to remove them for street use, you'll find the car will feel like it wants to roll. The sway bars are there to help prevent the roll effect caused when cornering by applying an opposing force.
