Went To The Track Last Night!!!

went to the track sense i put on my BBK UDP BBK intake and ported upper plenum is the only things i have done to it sense my last track run was a 14.8 and 92.3MPH

T1 60ft 2.1
T2 6.1
T3 9.4
E.T. 14.587
MPH: 95.450

not bad i tried the first run with my nexen street tires and i ran that after i put on my buddies slicks and she fell flat on her face and ran a 15.4 lol i don't think she is ready for slicks yet i think gears would help my 60ft with slicks lol

i think your car can handle slicks, you just have to get the rpm's way up there so it doesnt bog. but that puts a lot of strain on the drivetrain.

oh trust me i had the RPM's at 3k and launched it and it didn't slip AT ALL but after the launch it fell on it's face lol i think a 4500stall would be perfect and a shift kit would help

you can bring your RPM's to 5000 with slicks. 3 probably isn't enough.

powerbreaking it at the tree means he can probably only get his converter to stall around 2800.... put a 3500 stall in it and it will work better.

...that 14.5 is probably good for a high 13 at sea level...not too bad at all
