HID help!

i got my hid's in and installed today, however the high beams and low beams are reversed. does anyone know how to fix this?

So wait when your higheams are off the dash still lights up like there on?

when the switch is on regular/low beam the highs are lit up. when i switch it to high beam (when the blue light comes on the dash) the lows are lit up on the lights.

you got the high and low beam wires backwards.

thats what i thought. the kit is all plug and play, theres no wire splicing. so i looked at the plug diagram and cut/switched the low and high beam wires. they are still lit up wrong.

yeah i switched the high and low beam wires. the kit came with a high/low controller for the hids but i don't see how that could fuck it up if the wires going in are right. i'm all sorts of pissed off and confused.

im lost if wire A is high and you switch it it should switch the lights. sorry man.

give me a while i'm working on the fogs. which flicker for a sec but don't light up.

actually one of the members here wrote up a nice article on how to fix this. Just use the search feature and "hid" and you should find it.

it seems like if u switched the wires they would work... i hope my fogs work bc i just ordered a pair of 3k yellow

thanks for the links, but it didn't really answer how to switch the beams. the fog lights work now, they wouldn't ignite when the car was off because the battery was a little low. anyways i'm still looking into getting the beams switched over then i should be golden. BTW they look badass and are very bright.

i got it sorted out, check the "i just ordered hid's" thread theres a pic in there. its a crappy cell phone one though, i lost my camera earlier this year.

If you ordered your kit, from vvme.com, just switch the wires, that's what I did with my kit.
