Comp Cams or Hi-tech cams ???

anyone have any input on wether which cams comp or hi-tech will offer a better performance or more rwhp? I Dont have the extra money right now to get head work done so i'll just be doing cam swap and im looking for the best increase possible. I plan on getting the proper valve springs, retainers ect. I hear alot about comp and hi-tech but i want more info from you guys who have them? FYI- i have the normal bolt ons and nitrous 100 and 125 shot respectfully. just lookin for more N/A power.

Go with the hitechs. They are spec'd for the everyday GT. They work very well with the stock heads, and love the juice. Call those guys up and i promise you will be buying a set of their cams. ......It happened to me!

I love these cams, they drive like stock, sound great and make great power. The mid range TQ is incredible as well

Agreed 100%, I had a '96 in that made 306/310 with a auto/ 2800 stall with just a clean up on the P.I ports... The car makes sick power and will light up the tire at a 50mph roll. The guy that owns the car drives it daily without a tune (he is to cheap to tune it and need a bigger convertor). My buddy has a dyno jet, he was amazed at the power that little engine made for the basic bolt on and cam....

It is a full bolt on engine with ported heads, don't forget the added 5-10 rwhp for the compression bump using the P.I heads. I spent 4 months on a flow bench making those heads perfect, that was the first set that I used to get a cnc program.
