Lifters/lash adjusters

I am thinking about buying some PI heads for my 96gt. The heads are missing the cam gears, lifters, and followers. Are lifters the same thing as lash adjusters. And if so can I use the ones off of my non pi heads? If not are these parts expensive?

I would have to say that since they actually look similar to lifters in pushrod motors that it is what they are talking about. I dont have a clue if your old ones will fit or how expensive they are. You could try to find some place on-line that sells the parts and crossrference them unless someone else can tell you if they will work.

lifters and lash adjuster are the samething, followers are what rides off the cam lobes and opens and closes the valves..... if there still in good shape they can be re-used the adjusters and followers.....if the cams are PI Romeo then you can re-use your cam gears, sprockets, spacers, washer but you will need new camshaft sprocket bolts....
