Shaker Scoop

I know the Ram Air Shaker Scoop is prolly not good for very much of a power gain, then it might be, I don't know, but I like it. What exactly would it be good for, other than cosmetic? If its worth any power gain, what would it be? And how exactly does the scoop even attach? Does it take the place of the Intake? It's filtered too right? I would hate to suck shit in my engine.

The OE shaker has a true ram air effect starting at about 80 mph.
All the air is filtered and the system has some clever water traps built into it.

If you're thinking about ctting out your scoop in lieu of purchasing that $800 toy, please don't!

Had a buddy who decided to do that, until it drowned out his plugs after a rainfall

its not a good idea if your looking for power...no power at all...it looks bad ass and for the mach's it works fine but the aftermarket ones are no good for nothing

if u do end up doing it just go to karkraft.com and buy the parts to convert urs to the actual mach 1 hood/airbox...the aftermarket ones look like crap to me.
