if you want to go real easy on it and increase your gas mileage dramatically i'd keep it under 2500 but with our cars it takes a lot of dicipline to do that faithfully =)

Oh man. Good call. I was on 460 and some dudes in a jeep (thrown on some skyjacks, hole in the muffler too) thought they could take me. They don't qualify as rice... but damn, they had some kinda issue.

I jammed it, and owned them, from about, 12 car lengths behind. Just to embarass them.

Then I pull into sheetz, and they pull in and try and rev their jank. So we were like psssh no competition, they just went on. I wish they'd of been there when I got out.

ive always heard to make it easier on gas to go 2k or less....whenever i decide to kinda make the exhaust sing a little i go 2300-2500. all that ends up doing is reminding me to change the catback lol....

I usually go about 3500-4000 for normal driving. I love the sound at higher rpms!

Depends. You know... if you really want to own it up... speed shift.

And by speed shift, I mean don't. It's horrible and painful for your pony.
