2002 GT automatic headers and X-pipe

Lately I have been tossing around the idea of ceramic Mac LT with VRS SS X-pipe w/cats. Here is a comparison between Bassani X w/cats and VRS X w/cats

X-Pipe Comparison

Check out my earlyer post. I was thinking about shorty FRPP but everyone seemed to think they are a waste. That is why I am changing my mind. The MAC fit with the auto.

I bought the car new and it runs better than it did 60K miles ago. I got the Cop's and tuner at same time and could not be happier. No custom tune yet just the Diablo performance tune (still need exhaust and pulleys). But man what a difference in Tq and power. Seat of the pants! Also it took me from 21.5 MPG to over 24 MPG on interstate (as long as I keep my foot out LMAO).

Ok should be fun here is another thought but it was done on a 2005
Anderson Ford Motorsport did an exhaust shoot out for Muscle Mustangs and fast Fords in 2005 with Cat-Back in Sept, Mid-Pipes in Oct, and shorty Headers in Nov. For the Header test they left the Bassani Cat-Back and Bassani X-pipe w/cats. (The MAC pro chamber actually had a slight higher gain but they were all within 2 hp of each other.

Stock 2005 GT 289.8 hp and 313.8 tq
Base vehicle for test Bassani Cat-Back and Bassani X-Pipe w/cats
298.9 hp and 323.7 tq gain of 9.1 hp and 9.9 tq over base
FRPP 302.0 hp and 325.0 tq gain of 3.1 hp and 1.3 tq over base
MAC 301.1 hp and 325.0 tq gain of 2.2 hp and 1.3 tq over base
Bassani 301.8 hp and 324.8 tq gain of 2.9 hp and 1.1 tq over base
JBA 303.8 hp and 325.3 tq gain of 4.1 hp and 1.5 tq over base
