steeda tri shifter...any help?

so i got a bunch of things from my parents today, some things for my car, like long tubes, set day for dyno tune and steeda tri ax short shifter. so i was trying to remove the old hurst shifter out of the mach and for some reason the fuckin sealant that keeps the fums from coming into the car is like hardcore glue , well i tried everything to remove the other shifter, i even used a fuckin cro bar to try to get it off. Any ideas on how to get it off?

If you are talking about removing the shifter from the trans., the instructiions say to bollt the stick back on and use it as a lever.
That's what I did and it worked like a charm.

man i had the same problem...i bolted the shifter back on and then pushed to the right (the transmission is gonna move some) and gave it some force and it broke the seal and came right off.

go right and then left and then back to the right and just push...mine popped off. or i might have slammed it to the right with a lot of force.
