Quick Question on ProChamber

I'm installing my ProChamber tomorrow morning on my 01 Cobra. I know I've seen some things about removing the driver side studs and replacing them with bolts. Do I HAVE TO DO THIS??? I never did anything of that nature when swapping my midpipe on my 96' GT...

Well try it, if it snugs up your good. I changed the studs to ones the didn't have spacers/shims on them.

So it's more of a 50-50 thing pending what brand you get and what not? Cuz like I said...I've never heard of this til' now. My GT just bolted her right up no leaks, nothing...

Well I didn't the first time I had a leak but it was on the other side not the one with the questionble studs (drivers side). I went a head and changed them the second time just for good measure.

Well I got an oem gasket to put on the passengers side...so i shouldn't have to worry about the stud replacements?

50/50 type thing. I just do it to any car now after so many leaking I've had experince with. too much work to put on only to have leak & have to take back off. I always use new ford gasket also.

the mac x we had on doc's car had a little collar that slipped inside the piping on the drivers side. it leaked till we put it in. if the prochamber comes with one, i suggest putting it in.
