billet

i got some billet dress up things for christmas and i'm having trouble with only two of them. i have put pretty much everything on including the fuel door which looks cool, but i cant get the e-brake handle cover to slide on. ive covered it in dish soap and everything and its just too tight. i also cant get the steering wheel tilt lever to unscrew. its in there tight and ive even tried pliars to get a grip. how are these done?

oh, and i also put the window up/down switches on but they are so loose that they come off when i close the door too hard. it says to just pop them on and push which i did but they aren't really on there good.

There is probably a toutch of thread lock on the lever threads.
I've found somtimes if I tighten them a tad or at least make the effort that seems to help break them loose, just don't go ape on them.
