Question

where is the fuel filter???


Hey guys i have an 02 V6 and i need to replace the fuel filter but i cant find it. Can anyone tell me where it is or a website that can tell me how to replace it or where it is located at?

If you get under your car from the back it's right in front of the gas tank.

you'll need fuel line disconnect tools. you can get them at schucks for like $2.00 also before you disconnect it you should relieve the fuel pressure by turning off the fuel pump shutoff switch or bleeding the pressure through the schraeder valve.

make sure to releave the pressure or you will get gas all over yourself like a dumbass lol

yeah just pop the button and start the car til it dies and that should relieve the pressure enough for ya to do the install! good luck!

yea its a little silver cylindrical thing behind the tank, you shouldnt miss it. If you havent found it yet of course.
