I am looking at doing my suspension within the next month so I am also interested in some input on this subject. Maybe Jazzer could enlighten us with his vast amount of suspension knowledge?

Was your car out of alignment when you installed the cc's?

Hmm...I was thinking maybe since the car was out of alignment when you put the plates on that it is now "centered" wrong when you put the plates on. But that's just me throwing idears out there. I have some CC plates I'm going to install very soon and I'm going to align my car before and after I install the plates.

Sounds like one of the CC plates is not being allowed to move far enough over to be equal with drivers side?

Looking under the hood, do the plates mirror eachother? Maybe you have a washer that is partly in grove of strut tower and obstucting path of CC plate? The only other issue I can think of is lower end of strut may not be tightened at same angle as passenger side. I know there are two bolts holding it onto spindle, so maybe it is crooked there. Hard to describe, but could be just a little crooked and will probably throw you off 1°~2°.

HTH

what kind of c/c plates did you get? How many spacers did you put above and below the plate and do you have any pics? just wondering because i bought some c/c plates and now my alignment is even further off than without

i got the j and m plates off of american muscle i only put one spacer on my strut i have bilstein struts if that matters you have to check everything it is frustrateing but if you have a lift you can track down the problem kinda easy it could be as simple as a bolt that was out of wack
