a cavalier???was the guy with the mustang sleeping at the wheel??? you will beat him no problem jjust get a good launch and if you dont you will chase him down...if its an sti then oyu will need some mods and a great launch cause they are pretty quick

my neighbor just came home with an 06 WRX... I am driving a 2000 GT 5 speed and it was dead even from a dig, and i schooled him from a roll. Third gear was just too much for it. THey are quick, but you should take him...

thats not true...the regular wrx isnt that fast...a turbo's cavelier cant beat my stang...i think the driver of the auto stang ur talking bout sux...or has 6...stock wrx is fast but not THAT fast...

A shift kit and a torque converter with 4:10s...yep that is what i got...not installed though!

When i raced a WRX ... i lost every time off the line. but kicked his in ass on a second gear roll.

we'd cruise at 30 mph then i'd pop it in second and take off. i pulled on him all through second gear. got bout a car ahead and around 70mph wed slow back to 30. 3 times later he turned around.
but have you ever seen them take off?? they literaly jump like 3 cars aheada you. Its crazy. He always won off the line. sorry for the bad typen im drinken

With no gears your probably not gonna take this one. Those things are quick off the line. Stock gears aren't going to give you the kind of jump he's gonna get.

I don't know? I saw a kid in a black stock GT and a CAI, also a auto, get left. His tires spun and the WRX was out. Cost him $200. A $100 race. They raced twice too. Double or nothing. The funny thing is the guy with the stang was the one talking shit. lol Moral: It doesn't pay to be too cocky!

i smoked one at the track pretty bad when i ran a 13.8. just practice launching and you will be right there with him off the line...they dotn have that much power
