well if you want to do a lot go with sniper. if you want to just tune your car go with SCT. i personally like SCT better than diablo.

Yeah, for some reason I tend to be leaning more towards SCT

other then the fact that you have to pay every time you want to change the tune.
If you buy sct from AmericanMuscle u get free tunes sent to you when u start adding parts to the car.
What kind of parts are you planning on buyng? SCT is perfect for basic bolt ons. if you do cam or SC/turbo, you are gonna have to get custom tune regardless. for anything less then that SCT is perfect

Sniper will give you more options for you the END user of the product over SCT or Diablo .....and tunes 2 cars right out of the box , if you get a wideband you can tune a Nitrous , SC or turbo car with Snipers Special Forces kit , unlike the other tuners that require you go to a dyno shop

2002BLGT i dont want to say bad things about sniper, if you buy the tuner for a stock car and then start buying parts, you will need to retune the sniper each time you buy a part. each tune cost money from sniper, while from SCT is free. That is the reason why i prefer SCT

I think you would be happy with a combo CAI and tuner from Diablo or SCT. I had both and they are both good products.

WRONG , you have it backwards my man , the Sniper gives you the software to make UNLIMITED tunes on your own computer , you can make a million tunes for thousands of combinations , MAFS , injectors , trac delete , egr delete , PATS delete , cooling fan temps , rear axle ratios , and alot more I dont have time to type , whoever told you you have to pay for more tunes with SNIPER IS DEAD WRONG , the SCT only comes with 3 preloaded tunes , if you get a custom tune from a dealer then you lose those 3 loaded tunes , then if you want to change something you have to pay whoever you got the custom tunes for more tunes unless you get the tuner from someone like american muscle , but trust me they will never do a mail order blower , turbo or nitrous tune , Sniper gives you the options right on the software ......

wrong! all of those things that u just listed, u can change on the handheld regardless if it is SCT or diablo.I was saying that with sniper, if u buy glasspack type of catback u have to pay money to get a tune for that specific catback, where SCT/AM sends it to you for free

in that case you are going to need dyno tune regardless. i will suggest that you find out what type of tuner do the shops near you suppord and go based on that. all of those tuners will do exactly the same thing, which is to allow you to put a custome table in your ECU.

Show me an SCT or Diablo handheld that has an EGR delete , PATS delete , options for turbo, supercharger or nitrous etc made on the handheld , its NOT available from them unless you go to a dealer for a custom tune that you will have to pay extra for

And I dont know who told you you have to pay for each tune thru Sniper obvious you know nothing about the software so please refrain from posting BOGUS information about Sniper's software since you obviously have no personal experience with it ......
