With spray it would hurt the N/a. But would see gains when you spray.

I would say to use it for just blown imo. 75 is enough for spray i think. Even thats too big for N/A but it wouldn't totally stall the air. Some of the spray guys will chime in soon im sure

What t/b plenum setup did you have before? Im Email BBK and they said they never flow tested this piece. That bother me cuz it sole purpose is to flow air, so either its worse than their competition or they are really dumb.

i was stock. so to go from that to this 78mm made a big difference for me. i think if you already have an aftermarket one it wont make that big of a diff

So what about a full bolt-on car with cams and full exhaust? Still too much?

Its not that it is to much on stock heads, its just not efficient. You will have better results on with a 70. On the other hand ported heads will make a world of a difference. Or the new TFS heads will have better results with the 78mm than stock heads. People with the 5.4L want something bigger. So the 78 would be nice for them. For spray 78mm would be benificial. For any F/I, 78mm is amazing.

But would it still make more power?

Yes it will. Just not what your hoping for if you stay N/A. To some people its not worth the price.

So I'd actually end up making more power with say a 70mm tb and plenum?
