Nitrous express kit!!!

yesterday i decided to buy an nx kit to run on my set up because i got a killer deal at one of my local shops. i am trying to dip into 12s for the summer so i can beat my ls1 friends and shut them up for once. the best time run by them was a 12.9. is there anything i should know about running nitrous at the track? when to shoot it? what i will need? how to keep traction? best suspension mods for traction? i plan on running a 100 shot.

ive got the NX base kit running a 75shot. I engage it by the push button (not throttle switch) If the track is good Ill hit it at 2000rpm (NX's recommended miniumum rpm) but if the track sucks I'll wait until I dont hear the tires screaching anymore. Id go one step colder plugs with a 100shot unless you've got a tuner. And always use 93+fuel, and a warm bottle makes a difference

+1 i know when my 100 shot hit.... hwolly shit... if i was not on the track, it would spin the slicks even at 13 PSI... 1200 PSI pressure on the bottle, WOT, 3000-5600 window. I went from 14.6 best n/a to a 13.25 at the same wieght... now i did a get constant 12s, but it took some nice wieght reductiont too

mine ran 12.17 on the 100 shot with about 1100lbs in the bottle... that was just with 100 shot, exhaust, pulleys and tires... added a 125hp shot, 31 spline axles, 3.73 gears, slicks and skinnies and only dropped .17... i picked up 3mph though... should see 11s after i get my dang differential back together... matt what brand is your differential? where you get it? how much?

STOCK... my whole rear end is stock except for 4.10s.... 450 foot pounds of torque at 4500 RPM launches on slicks have not done anything to it yet, except ruin the clutches in it... planning on going 33 spline this summer... but im just going to have the spiders welded together on this 28 spline for now, or put new clutches in it.

I would use a WOT switch. Just make sure that if you do use a push-button that its run through a WOT switch so you don't accidentally hit the button while you're idling. A really good tune-able setup would be a wot switch and a window switch.

Yes. You don't want to hit your rev limiter while you're spraying. Bad things will happen.

I have no experience with Dynotune. I tend to try and use the same brand for a system. I had a Nitrous Express kit on my 94 with the NX purge kit and NX fully automatic bottle heater. NX has a very good reputation. Dynotune, I dont know.
