missing bolt hole on intake manifold

I'm in the middle of installing my new ford racing intake manfold from american muscle and one of the bolt holes on the water crossover for the thermostat is missing. Do I have to drill and tap one? The whole reason I changed it was because coolant was leaking from the thermostat area and now I can only put 1 bolt in it, wtf?

nevermind i just drilled the hole out

now the alternator bracket doesn't fit.. im guessing the 01+ brackets are different?
