I know i was supposed to look first

ok, my 03 get there currently has 112k miles. mods are Full SLP exhaust, CAI, and a BBK 70mm throttle body. Id like to put 4:10s or 3:73s, havent decided yet. Is it a good idea to go ahead and choke up the cash for a set of 31 spline axels? Cuz i also have to buy a new 31 Diff right? (looking at the Ford Racing LOK limited slip, any reviews?) Also, on the 8.8, leave it or go to a 7.5? this will sound insane and alot will disagree. But id like to run around 150 no higher 5500rpm. But i'll only be getting that high once or twice a year when i go to the flats. So I really need to focus on the track benefits. When it comes to the gear in the rear, Its not my strong point.

Also, with the CAI and 70mm BBK, Im looking at getting a larger plenum, 1/2 inch plenum spacer, helix throttle body spacer, and underdrive pulleys. Any arguments or reviews?

Youre right, if you get 31 spline axles yes you need a 31 spine differential. For what mods you have id think that the differential/clutch pack would take a dump before youd snap a 28 spline axle just based off of what ive read/seen theres a bunch more people running more power than you and slicks on the factory 28 splines and havent snapped on yet. I wouldnt bother with the spacer bs but an aftermarket plenum and underdrive pullies arent a bad idea and if youre wanting to run 150mph at 5500rpm 4:10's probably wouldnt be your best bet.
