What X-pipe to go with my new magnapacks?

I just ordered my magnapacks through ebay, so they are on thier way. I want to get a X-pipe to go with them, but don't know what to get. I was going to get the magnaflow #93335 but they say for off road use only. If they have coverters why are they o/r and will my car still pass NYS inspection with them? I was also considering the three piece SLP Catted X-Pipe but I need to know if they work well with the magnapacks I just bought. I'd rather have the SLP because it is easy to go from catted to uncatted after inspection. My friend has a '02 GT with magnapacks and the magnaflow o/r X-pipe. Hew has a buddy that told him he can help him pass inspection when the time comes. How can a car with no cats pass inspection? I appreciate all the help I can get. This is my first dive into performance mods.

Those offroad pipes will definitely not pass inspection for on road use. My friend has the SLP loudmouth exhaust in his Stang and we live in NY, they passed it fine, and it sounds mean as hell too.

What mid pipe does he run? The SLP loudmouth are definitly mean sounding, but I just liked the magnapacks more. SLP are louder, but magnapacks have a better sound quality to me. It's all just opinion though. check this vid and you judge.

Will the SLP mid pipe work well with the magnapacks? That is the set up I want to run with.

I would go with a Maggie or Bassani catted x for the 'Packs. You should be able to pass the sniffer with high flow cats. I believe either of the ones I listed or the SLP will mate up just fine with the 'Packs.

I just want the SLP because they have the three piece design where you can take off the cats or put them back on in about a half hour. That seems truly handy!

Yeah I checked Bassani are diffinitly up there in price. I don't know anyone with bassani mid pipes or exhaust on thier stang, but they seem to come highly recommended.
