Power Pipe help
so heres the short version of the story. I just got an andersons power pipe for my 03 GT. i spent 3 hours yeasterday trying to get this to work and i couldnt get it all to fit properly. Unfortunantley i needed to drive the vehicle today so needless to say im pissed about wasting 3 hours yesterday only to put everything back to stock. Now im not the most mechanically inclined person but i thought that this was gonna be simple, apparently not. So my question is does someone have or know where i can get better detailed instructions on how to install this damn thing, perhaps with pic's.
Thanks in advance |

If it's anything like installing the stock intake pieces on a Vortech it's a PITA, period. Just take your time you will get it. Have you tried putting the pipe in to where the last part to connect was the elbow that connects the power pipe to the blower? That would be my best guess of how to install it.

What blower do you have? I had to remove the upper supports for the radiator and a/c condensor so i could push the forward to get my AFM power pipe to fit.

It was a BITCCCCHHH putting mine on my procharger. There could be a better design for the power pipe. Its a pain bro. I also had to remove that radiator support for the power pipe to fit. Also getting it to tighten down on the procharger sleve was a PITA!!! i prolly spent 3 hours getting mine to fit also bro.

I used a air chizzle to cut the opening for it to fit thru. It took two of us tho to just get the pipe to stay on the sleeve of the blower.

Im not too familar with the power pipe but as far as I know I think you might have to make the opening to where it goes behind the fender bigger and theres some bs I seen on anderson's web about cutting out a little area on the inside of the hood so it dont hit when closing the hood? Id try to help you more but thats really all I know about these things.

I've heard about the difficulties of installing the AFM piece. My MPH pipe went on effortlessly.

I used a zip tie on the far side to hold the rad and ac against the cross member and the the power pipe hold the other end.
