i have this clutch in my car(99 GT) and i love it. very stiff, and grabs very well. you should always replace bolt and dow pin with new, cause it wouldnt hurt. dont see why it wouldnt fit your 02 GT

If you have a mild to moderately modded car it's a decent clutch.

2002 GTs don't have a windsor, they have Romeo 6 bolts....

Go with a Centerforce, great clutch pedal feel, and grabs great

That clutch wont fit your transmission. It's meant for the T45 whereas you have a T3650.

It's not the tranny that keeps it from fitting it's the flywheel. 10.5" for 2000 down and a 11.5" for 2001+.

I'm using a 2000 gt 8 bolt flywheel and 10.5" clutch with a tr3650 right now on a Cobra crank.. The main spline spline count on the main shaft is the same for both. I have also used a 11.5" clutch/flywheel with a T-45.

yeah my spec is garbage. shakes on take off and downshifts and my tob sings like a mofo. and that king cobra clutch is 10.5in and it said it will fit the 99-04 gt w/ tr3650. your thinking of the other king cobra clutch. look at the specs in the link i posted. thanks for all your help guys.

Notes:

Clutches have NO warranty!
All clutch discs have 1.0625"-10 spline hub.
Fits all 1986-01 Mustang GT, 1993-98 Cobra with T-5 or T45 Transmissions. 2001-04 Mustang GT with 3650 transmission and 1999-03 Cobra uses an 11" clutch. OK to mix and match Ford Racing clutch discs and pressure plates but do NOT install a FRPP pressure plate with a stock disc or vice-versa as disengagement problems may occur. Installation of 10.5" clutch assemblies on 1979-85 vehicles equipped with 10" clutch requires new flywheel. Metric fasteners and dowel pins must be used with 10.5" clutches.
Requires metric pressure plate bolts N602549-S51M and alignment dowel pins D1FZ-6397-B, Ford Racing kit M-6397-A302.

*edit i guess this is wrong then cause the clutch has to be an 11in to fit then right?

That will fit, but why not just your stock one resurfaced for like $60?
