catless x-pipe with magnaflow catback...good combo?.
well, the car has a magnaflow catback on it...very quiet at idle, and gets throatier under accell, but i want some more deep exhaust notes....
again i already have a magnaflow catback, and i am not chaning that. so i want to put a catless x-pipe in place ....whats the best/cheapest...or should i just have 1 made at an exhasut shop?...not looking to spend a ton as i want to get wheels and an sc in the next few months...just looking for some deep exhaust note's.. |

i have magnapack catbacks with magnaflow catted x i like it how it sounds its not too lound and it is great for highway. if you want to go loud you should go with catless H and dumps out back. if you do that you will get so lound... that you will get ear bleeds

yes, it'll make it deeper and throatier.
but if you're going for a little bit of a deeper sound, then you'll want to go with an H

If you want deep do an o/r h...but they will both be loud...the x will just be a little higher pitched in the upper rpm range

The note is mostly determined by the muffler, but it will be MUCH louder with no cats. The stock mid is an H, so it will sound a little higher pitched
There really isn't much of a difference in x-pipes, they all sound pretty much the same. (Some people will say they sound different though)

if i was doing exhaust all over again i would the the following:
1. buy LT (good once) 2. buy catted x 3. buy free flow (glasspack) type of catbacks this sounds bitchin' and u get the most gain

I have a set of magnaflow axle back mufflers with 300 miles on them. I traded in my '06 GT I installed them on. The salesman told me to take them off and put the stock mufflers back on. He wasn't giving any more trade in $ with them on. They have raised letters that say Magnaflow. I can send you a picture if you PM me with an email address. I don't want to go thru the hassle of putting them on photobucket then uploading them to here. They are for sale if any one is interested PM me. Good price!

exactlly but u forgot that h-pipe is a little bit louder IMO....and also in case anybody is wondering
an h-pipe gives u more torque ,,, and an x-pipe gives u 4000+ horsepower!!!
