great news.... ordered cams today!! HiTech stage 2s!! Well i called brian at hitech today. and we went over the specs and stuff and i ordered hitech stage 2 cams.. found a shop that will install them for $50 an hour and tune it for $100 an hour.. i also picked up a set of comp beehive vavle springs.. i went ahead and ordered 30lb injectors just help out a little ya know? but i do have a question. and yes everyone i have SEARCHED!! but will my stock fuel pump support 30lb injectors? thanks in advance, J.D.

yeah... kinda big though you could have just went with 24s... congrats.. i just got my cam card in from jay at camshaft innovations and my cams will be here tomorrow or friday.. and will be going in next weekend so im happy..

are injectors necessary or reccomended with a larger cam. I have full bolt ons.

Ill see if I can find a dyno graph showing the differance in a car that the injectors were going static, and then once larger injectors were installed. |

Sweet!, hey if they havnt had any cars with the Hitech Stage 2 cams on the dyno yet, I can send them a spark curve that I have used in almost all of the cars I have done. Might save you some time on the dyno.

Grats! And on n/a applications 70mm tb/plenum is actually a little better than 75. Better velocity. 75 is better for juice or boost.
And before somebody screams at me, yes 75 does show gains over stock. Just not as much as a 70 on a bolt on car.

your stock pump should work okay for a while but eventually i'd step it up to a 255 lph pump.

the focus pump would work but if you gonna go through all the trouble to have it change you might aswell just pay a lil extra and put the 255lph in and you'll never have to worry about it again.
