poly isolators
Do poly isolators make the car sit higher as opposed to using the stock isoloators?? i mean if i swap the stock isolators out for poly urethane isolators is it gonna raise it up a tad? i have heard a few times that they make it sit a little higher...but am not sure..btw, i am referring to the REAR ONLY
thanks

They will not make your car sit any higher than stock. However, your stock ones are probably partially worn through, so they make be slightly different because of that. However, its not going to be more than .25" or so, so I wouldn't worry about it.

i want them to help it sit up...i'm putting different coils in the back...and they may slam it a little too much...so i was gonna buy the poly iso's just in case it makes it too low...then i could stick them in and gain a little more height...
just wanted to know if they would be worth buying for this reason

Exactly what he said. Comparing a new oem isolater and poly isloator the thicknesses will probably be the same, but over time the factory rubber one wears out and starts to get thinner where the spring sits so by changing to the poly ones it should raise it up some from where it currently sits. |
