The first thing I would reccomend for the GT's especially but for all in general is subframe connectors. The mustangs Unibody is notorious for twisting under acceleration. I had maximum motorsport sfc's installed on my car as the first mod.
The change was immediately noticeable. When I first got on the pedal after buying the car I used to feel the body twist and try to slide out on me, after the sfc's were installed my launches were nice and straight. In addition the welding in of sfc's could
save u a giant headache in case of an accident as there will be less chance of screwing up the frame.

thank you.
I just noticed this old post today and, yes subframe connectors are a nice thing to have, but you are making your life difficult when it comes to a lot of later upgrades(exhaust, tranny, clutch, the list goes on). I think its a bad call to start off by making every undercar install a pain in the behind on an already difficult car to work on due to its cramped spaces.

oh subframes making the car more harder to work on is ridiculous. They just go along the frame rail and then there is about a 1 foot section that goes about where the seats are and nothing is usually even added to the car there. Sub-frames could be one of the first mods you should do. Silver your killing me with the wrong info buddy

Subframe connectors do nothing to impede working on things under the car.

HBK don't you find it odd that White knows so much about me being a homo.

Besides, I just came out of the closet

BTW Exhaust was pretty much last thing i done... Who wants to be like everyone else and make a car that is all sound? Thats all i see is Mustang owners that throw a set of 40 series flowmasters on it and think they have a bad ass car...

well for bolt-ons a full exhaust will net you the most power of any other bolt on so thats why it should be first. I really didn't notice a difference from other bolt-ons but after putting a off-road h-pipe and mac cat-back there was a difference.

So tell me how the 75mm Throttle body will hurt me? Curious not trying to prove you wrong... I had a 70mm and traded some stuff for the 75mm.

So yea. i got the bassani o/r x pipe on my 04 gt, with flows 40 series catback. And since i got it installed. i always heard a rattling sound. i couldnt figure out what it was. So i got my xpipe welded on, instead of the clamps. Didnt fix it. its so f*ckin annoying!! when i hit about 2000 rpm it starts rattling. if i floor it. its fine. if i take it slow from a dead start, its fine as well. it blows!
