its the resonance of the flowmasters vibrating something in the car. mine does it too but its not too bad. it could be one of the V's inside the flowmaster rattling loose..

i say its all good. your persoanl preference. cats if you need them, like i shouldve got. h pipe for deeper sound, x pipe for throaty sound with a lil easier airflow. with my car it already sounds nice as hell with my setup, its deep, and without the cats, wow, its loud. and bassanis good too, but what ive seen a lil pricier then sum others

IMO the first addon should be a short throw shifter. This will benefit you A LOT and you should get used to shifting you car with one before you start getting serious. (Steeda tri-ax)

After that install, go for a catback exhuast (Good quality like borla stingers, steeda's, bassani, etc). Expect about 10 hp give or take a few.

Then, a cold air intake. IMO steeda makes the best one but generally they all do the same thing. Expect 4-10 hp.

Next get a mid pipe. I personally recommend the Bassani or Magnaflow X-pipes. These offer much better airflow than the stock H pipe and will give you decent power gains, I've heard up to 15-17.

Get a tune and some gears next, then after that you should get whatever you want.

With the mods about you should develop a little over 260-265rwhp, and about 305-315 at the crank. This is a good starting point and is noticably faster than a stock GT @ about 220rwhp/260 at the crank.

I'd say after this save for lowering springs or light suspension work, cobra brakes, some nice radials, and then eventually a supercharger (Not procharger or vortec, go biggie and get Kenne Bell or whipple) if you serious about some big power gains. If you plan on doing more than 9psi or a hair over 400rwhp/475shp UPGRADE YOUR BOTTOM END or things will go boom. Go forged.

Just some suggestions but this is the route I am going. I finally got my mid pipe and tune, next up is gears then the saving game for something bigger and better.

Root style blowers are more relaible and provide better constant power IMO. They cost more becuase they are better IMO.

Not saying its BAD but I would much rather spend a little more and a 2.1 or 2.6 KB. You can develop more power with this unit i'm pretty sure.

if u think more money means more better, then the hell with belt drive, go twin turbo. a good twin turbo setup will make way more peak hp then any kb/whipple

Pretty sure whipple doesn't make a 2v application.

Im pretty sure I didnt want to get 450+ to the wheels or want a roots blower. It's not about getting the biggest and best all the time.

Oh and by the way, I could get that with the procharger.
