ZEX has a built in WOT switch. You should buy a window switch though. It will activate the nitrous at WOT of course, but only during a specified RPM range.

Remote bottle openers are nice, but dang they are expensive! I'd just wait and see if you can pick up a used one off of somebody.

What is the benefit of the purge kit?

I'm going to do nitrous eventually and get a custom tune when I do. How can I install the kit and make sure it works properly before getting my tune? I don't want to actually spray my engine till I get the tune. I'm thinking just take the jets out of the intake and spray into a bucket or something. Any suggestions?

purge will elimnate air pockets in the main line.

test the system by activating them and see if the solenoids magnetize. or if the bottle is open, unhook the line off the nozzle and activate. same with the fuel.

no need to be scared to test the system out before a dyno tune unless you have an n/a tune you can change. if on stock tune, thro the 50 shot jets in and try out.

Colder plugs and fpss. A fpss is the one thing that people almost always forget to mention in these threads (I know you already did sweet2k-just reminding moose). They are cheap insurance.

Where do you plan on mounting the bottle? Trunk or backseat area? If you do the backseat area than you can just reach back and open the bottle. No need for a remote opener or pulling over and popping the trunk (which can be a hassle if you hapen to run into someone on the street that wants to run-not that I condone street racing )

But, if you put the bottle in the backseat than you need to invest in a blow down tube. Most tracks will not let you go down the 1/4 if you have a bottle anywhere inside the car and don't have a blow down tube. In the trunk though, you will be fine.

I just not a a nitrous fan. Once I tried it I would want it all the time. It's really not another head unit. The just change the impellar and Volute(scroll).
