But i want to get a shorter Serpentine belt that will eliminate my A/C. Car is a 00GT 4.6 of course... Can anybody tell me what belt to get? size or part number? TIA, Mitch

more to it than just a belt but the belt is in the mid 70" range ( I wanna say like 77") just hold the tensioner in middle of travel (will need two people for this) & wrap a string around pullies in the way the belt needs to go & measure the string that'll get you very close (just be prepaired to buy a couple of belts till you get it perfect). you'll need a v-6 tensioner pulley (& some grinding on the tensioner) to complete it.

Hmm... Why the different pulley?
anybody have any more tech on this?? Many years ago, when I had my 86 GT, it was common to just buy a certain Part # belt, it was that easy. TIA, Mitch

the reason you need the different pulley is that the tensioner on your car is smooth & you need it to be grooved to make this set up work. to do this you remove the a/c & idler pullies above the tensioner & then just run the belt around the tensioner. pretty simple really but not at all like a 5.0.
