Boost-A-Pump makin popping noise in speakers

Ok, my friend has an 03Gt with a Kenne Bell 2.1 and he's running the boost a pump. When he floors it and the BAP kicks on he gets popping noises in his subwoofers. Anyone have any ideas?

I think it would be a ground wire. I would suggest grounding the BAP to another area. Not saying that is it but that would be the 1st thing i checked on.

Just like baker said check the grounds and go from there. Bad grounds can cause you all sorts of goofy problems and its a simple fix/good starting point to trying to pinpoint the problem.

anytime i had a ground problem it always irritated my speakers. Dunno why but it always wants to feed out in the speakers. And you said its only when it kicks on.

+1

Who needs speakers anyway? The sweet sound of an exhaust note is music enough. lol
