You should be ok, im running the patriot springs and like them quite a bit. Any particular reason why you just plan on upgrading the springs, retainers, and locks and not the cams?

You wouldnt pay someone to f**k your wife and then brag about how good the guy was so why have someone work on your car and then brag about how fast it is or all the new parts you just got installed.

Um. NO....that is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. Flattening the cam lobe cause of added spring pressure. OMG. wow.

Put the springs in...you will be fine...FOREVER.

That sucks, but yea youll be fine with your kit. I was just curious why you wanted to upgrade but not drop cams in. Best of luck to you.

The 270s will work. Had them in my 99 GT when it was 2V...and then put them in a bone stock 04 GT. They will work. Just have to take your time and degree them in.
