I've been wondering the same thing. I was thinking of doing it myself, as I have ported many Chevy SB heads, but these modular heads look pretty intimidating. I am really worried that I am going to blow a water jacket, or ruin this little combustion chamber.

does afr make heads for the mod motors? they make good stuff just not sure if they do for the mod motors. vt makes nice stuff. i recently ordered heads and cams from them, there customer service is great. go to www.vtengines.com i would recomend calling them instead of ordering online.

i know with pushrod motors, any quality name brand head off the shelf (TF, AFR) will put out better numbers than any port job.
