New Exhaust system...

Ok so right now i have my stock H-pipe on, but when i bought my car a few weeks ago, the guy included a BBK X Pipe with Hollow Cats for free cause they were on the car at 1 point but since the car has lowering springs the cats were scraping so he had them hollowed and had to put the stock H back on. was wondering if anybody had an exhaust system setup with hollow cats on their x pipe. im debating on either getting the current x pipe thrown on or buying a new x pipe.

im also not exactly sure how to install the exhaust and what not being that this is my first car that i actually want to take pride in and put in a lil time and effort lol. so any insight on that subject would be great. i called this shop when i got the car and asked how much it would be to throw on the x pipe. guy said 100 to throw the x on but id have to buy a programmer so that the check engine light wouldnt be on constantly cause of the o2 sensors. he said the car could potentially not run right if it was done without the programmer. is the guy being serious or was he trying to get me to pay him another like 300 for a programmer?

all insight and info is greatly appreciated

changing the mid-pipe isnt hard, 8 bolts and disconnecting the o2 sensors and doing it in reverse order to put another one back in.

You can buy mil eliminators from Americanmuscle.com, they're about 60 bucks, and they will make that check engine light go away. That's what the shop guy is trying to sell you. Listen to some youtube clips and see if you like X or H pipe with flows.
