I think I have a bad ball joint..


My right front quadrant of my car makes an awful creaking/squeaking when I turn the wheel. I'm fairly certain it's a ball joint. I don't like simply replacing, I like upgrading, but mind you, I just bought cams so I'm somewhat on a budget. What do you suggest.

Maybe the steeda x2 or whatever? Those are the only "performance" aftermarket ball joints I know of for our cars. I have no clue weather theyre worth it or not though.

Before you go spending money on new ball joints check the bushings up there first. But yeah the Steeda's I've heard are nice.

I bet your right. I'll check into it this weekend.

I just remember when I was an Alignment tech, Fords, F-150's in particular, were notorious for bad upper and lower ball joints and they often squeaked.
