you actually have to tell the dumb fucks to look at the box 80% of the time they type it in the computer and it just comes up as ngk vpower but tr6 is on the side of the box they are 1 heat range colder and you want a smaller gap to prevent spark blow out

+1 And it sounds like you have some idiots behind the counter of your local parts store. The stk# is 4177 and it says TR6 right on the box. .036 seems to be the ideal gap, Its what I run also and have no drivability problems when not in boost.

Just have them look up the plugs for an 03-04 cobra. Uses the same plug we do, but one heat range colder (tr6). And yeah gap them a .035. When i just asked for a colder heat range plug and didn't actually specify the number (or even knew i just took their word) they were giving me stock heat range (tr55).

I usually just order them online if im not in a rush. I went to a shucks here, and half the plugs i bought (checked first) were used lol... Somebody bought them swapped the plugs and returned the old ones.

It will run fine without the nitrous at .035 (or .036 close enough). It is just to make sure when you use it you wont blow out. You wont get as good of a spark normal wot though (wont matter that much), and drivability wont change a bit.

Type in 4177 on advanced auto parts website. Buy and pick up in store. Either that or tell the guys the 4177 part number and they can find it like that. I don't think tr6 is listed as a cobra plug anymore.

Yup most of them are pretty stupid. Try asking for the 4177, if that doesnt give you any luck try napa, carquest, or another type of "real" parts store.
