A windsor head is a windsor head.

So yes.

The 99/00 Mustang motors are truck motors...just put them in mustangs in those years. hence the 8 bolt cranks.

Really. lol.

SO when I got my heads off a 2001 HD truck (Harley Davidson) and used my stock 13/14 bolt windsor valve covers...it didn't work? Hmm. You guys do know that the heads can be swapped side to side and they are exactly the same heads left to right, just have to swap over plugs, and the valve covers are different side to side because a bolt hole isn't used on one side...hence 13bolt and 14 bolt?

Now if he is asking about using a 13 bolt valve cover on the wrong side...then no, But if indeed he is asking if TRUCK/SUV 2V WINDSOR heads will work on his WINDSOR valve covers. Then yes. I did it...and so have many others.

There are only 2 style of heads out there for PI motors...Romeo and Windsor...and a PI head is a PI head, just like a Romeo head is a Romeo head minus the PI vs NPI, but NPI covers will go on PI heads and vise-versa.

IT will. LIke I said. A windsor head is a windsor head. The way the valve covers work is one side only uses 13 of the possible 14 bolts.

It will physically fit. But as far as the PCV location, that may be different. Might want to look into that...
